The BMK will be equipped with a 95mm squared CCD as described on this page. It is a 10k×10k thinned STA CCD with 9μm pixels run by an ARC-48C controller with 16 output amplifiers and a total read-out time of currently 50s. This device sets the effective field of view of the telescope to 7.25° × 7.25°, i.e. 52.5 square degrees with a spatial resolution on the sky of 2.475 ′′/pix.
